Nigeria's economic growth and development can be bolstered by prioritizing vocational training as a means of effective entrepreneurship development. Unlike theoretical entrepreneurial studies, vocational training offers practical skills and is accessible to the majority of individuals who lack access to higher education institutions. In light of this, a study will be conducted to examine the impact of youth vocational training on socio-political peace in Katsina zone. The main objective is to assess how such training influences various aspects of society, such as reducing drug abuse, criminal activities, and political hooliganism. Youth vocational training holds significant potential for positive societal impacts. By equipping young people with practical skills in specific fields, vocational training enables them to enhance their knowledge, employability, and economic prospects. Furthermore, it acts as a preventive measure against drug abuse, as it provides purpose and direction to the youth. By diverting their attention towards productive activities and offering viable employment opportunities, vocational training programs help reduce the likelihood of engaging in criminal behavior. Additionally, such training promotes socio-political peace by steering young individuals away from disruptive and violent political activities. By focusing on skill development and career-building, vocational training empowers the youth to contribute positively to Nigeria's growth and stability.
